I've always known I want to be an artist, ever since I was a young boy, back in the early 1970's. In the 80's I became fascinated with the art of caricature. In my teens I would copy caricatures from the TV show Spitting Image and the cartoons of Kevin 'KAL' Kallaugher in the Economist.
In later years I worked various jobs to pay the bills while I developed my skills, and in 2006 I received my first magazine commission for the Radio Times. I have since been commissioned by the Weekly Standard, painted Derren Brown for the BP Portrait Awards exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, as well as painted for many private clients, including Tim Jenison and Penn and Teller. I've also drawn live caricatures for Sir Paul McCartney.
